Sashaloo

I made my first batch of cookies here in Spain recently, Oatmeal Chocolate Chip...they were good.  Sasha couldn't take her eyes off them.  This is what she does when you have food that she thinks she would like.  She stares it down...wishing it in her mouth.

You're fired!

Last week I finally fired my Spanish tutor, it had been a long time coming.  Although, it was still difficult for me as I am the type of person that wants everyone to like me. My tutor was a 29 year old graduate student here in Spain, but from Columbia.  He was also Jeff's tutor, but Jeff's classes concluded last month.  He was always late, usually 30+ minutes and here were a few times he was more than an hour late.  At the begining I would wait 1 hour then leave, but recently I started leaving after 30 minutes.  I would try to contact him to see if he was still coming and he wouldn't answer.  Then there was a half a dozen times he would cancel class after it was to have started.  After 5 months of this I finally had enough and let him go.  I met my new tutor yesterday, love her.

4 years ago today...

Jeff and I got married in the Dominican Republic.  Thank you to all our friends and family that made the journey to the Dominican Republic to make that day even more special.

Jeff and I were in Lisbon this past weekend and we are scheduled to go to London, Amsterdam and Athens in the next few months.  So stay tuned!

Cliffs of Moher

We finally arrived at the Cliffs of Moher around 4:30pm, it was cloudy and very windy that day.  Not ideal, but what you going to do.
So there is a National Park at the Cliffs and a "restricted" area that you can visit.  The "restricted" area is at your own risk and you have to cross a few barriers to get there.

Doolin, Ireland

We stopped in this little town near the Cliffs of Moher for lunch.  Nick and Rachel had said here 2 years prior on vacation in Ireland.  Next stop...Cliffs of Moher.

Burial grounds (Ireland)

This was our second stop on our way to the Cliffs of Moher from Galway.  I don't recall the name, but they are burial grounds.
